Oh yes, this was indeed very fancy. The girls even put on their fancy faces in preparation. (...much thanks to a stop at the all famous "Hamley's Toy Store" in London the day before - one of my ladies chose a make up kit as her toy...!)
My fancy face was put on too, but was more connected with puffy neck, swollen under-chin glands and a sour expression when swallowing than lovely blue eyes and pink cheeks. Boy was I fancy!!
But in spite of my state, the table was set with a beautiful silver tea set that once belonged to a late great aunt of Nigel's. The whole time she prepared the tea, my sister spoke in the fanciest of Queen's English Accents expalining the whole process and just how fancy it was going to be. All the while, Nigel heckled her from the side in his authentic English accent. It was perfect.
That afternoon, we would head off on the tube on the next leg of the journey - to HOLLAND! Stay tuned!!
